Why we exist

Scotland has one of the deepest professional talent pools in the UK. Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Dundee and the surrounding regions produce accountants, engineers, developers, marketers and operators who compete on quality with any market in the country. Most recruitment agencies treat the Scottish market as an afterthought on a London desk, using the same database search they run for the Home Counties and getting the same generic shortlist as a result. Scottish employers deserve better.

Hybrid Scotland was set up to be Scotland-first. Consultants who know the Scottish talent market, the Scottish comp bands, the passive-market movers, and the hybrid or remote working patterns that Scottish professionals actually want.   • Location and working-pattern fit: hybrid frequency, on-site expectations, commuting radius, remote-anywhere flexibility
  • Right-to-work confirmed before introduction
  • Functional experience validated against the brief, not just the CV headline
  • Current comp package broken down (base, bonus, LTIPs, pension, benefits)
  • Notice period, contractual restrictions and start-date realism
  • Motivation for move, market activity and any competing processes in flight
  • Hybrid-fluency screen: self-management, async communication, output-focused delivery evidence
  • Reference readiness and background-check readiness before we send
